Officially documented with new registrations in 28 European countries (EU plus Norway and Iceland, EEA data 2023; most in Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Norway). Also officially on sale in the United Kingdom and Switzerland. Germany 2025: 31,938 new registrations (KBA).

China

Available

Produced and sold locally by SAIC Volkswagen since 2021, since June 2025 also as the ID.3 GTX. SAIC-VW has denied reported plans to end production.

North America (USA / Canada)

Not available

Not officially available. VW's electric line-up there consists of the ID.4 and ID. Buzz.

Other markets

Mostly not available

Australia, New Zealand and South Korea: not introduced so far (Australia under review by VW, no date). Türkiye: the ID.3 Neo launch is announced for July 2026 but could not yet be ordered as of June 2026.
